Sussex County Councilman Rob Arlett to Make Announcement on Potential Run for Federal Office

Selbyville, DE –  Sussex County Councilman Rob Arlett today released the following statement:

“During the past several months, many elected officials, community leaders, and grassroots activists throughout the state of Delaware have encouraged me to run for statewide elective office. I have been humbled by the amount of support I have received and have given considerable thought to those calls to serve. On Monday, April 16, I look forward to announcing my decision."

Rob Arlett was elected to represent the Fifth Council District of Sussex County in 2014. During the 2016 U.S. Presidential campaign, Councilman Arlett also served as President Trump's Delaware state campaign chairman. The owner of a Delaware-based real estate company since 2005, Councilman Arlett attended George Mason University and served in the U.S. Naval Reserve as an Intelligence Specialist. He and his wife, Lorna, are the proud parents of two sons and reside in coastal Sussex County near West Fenwick, DE.
